Teachers come to some parents with problems but never with solutions. If a student doesn't know a concept, it's the parents fault. The do not meet every students need, instead , the parent of those students in need of help needs to figure out what to do. Teachers at low income schools do far more than those at Sienna Crossing.

I completely agree with the review below and I am a teacher (in FBISD) as well. My child is so stressed out from the amount of work being sent home that she/he hates school. Half the time I am teaching the material that is being sent home because it has barely been touched on in class. Multiple projects being assigned right before the holidays and exams like we are in high school is ridiculous. Teachers and administrators need to remember that they only get one chance to be kids. Then they are grown ups for the rest of their lives. No wonder so many people are home schooling. Quit teaching to this stupid test and start caring about the kids.

Ive been to Sienna Crossing for 6 years ( K-5 ) and ALL my teachers ( Homeroom Switch Janitors Principle FLITe Cafeteria and LAMP) Were nice, now most kids would say whey would be mean... but just b/c they are strict and want to get things done doesn't necessarily mean they are mean. At the end or in the middle, every teacher gives a child a prize or a chance to let them shine. Now all these rude comments or remarks on this school should stop... ok so this school isnt perfect, but no school is. Believe me if it were perfect then it would have everything think of it... perfect is like an opinion its perfect to 1 person but not perfect to you.... get it. ok so stop!

We love Sienna Crossing Elementary because the staff really cares about the children and they encourage parent involvement. For example for the Kindergartener's Zoo Day there was an average of 15 parents for every 17 kids.

Great school! I am very happy with this school. My son has attended there for two years and he has learned so much, more than what I expected. He learned power point last year, he was only in the second grade. He also learned to read and write while he was in kindergarten, he had never attended school before . This school has the best teachers, the principal is very strict, but I think that's the reason the school is one of the best schools around here.

This school is too overcrowded due to the amount of families who moved into the Sienna Plantation subdivision. I forsee this being a problem as families continue to move into the area. This means less individual attention to each child due to large class sizes. It would also be nice if the office staff were more helpful and friendlier.

Teachers are great, but even some of the teachers don't buy into the teaching philosophy. Principal is horrible. No help, hands off, and holds a grudge.
